Carol Ann CastelbuonoEstate Planning/Tax
Carol Ann has been practicing law for over 25 years, specializing in estate planning, estate administration, trust and estate law, elder law, business and tax matters. Carol Ann graduated magna cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University and has a graduate legal degree in taxation (LL.M.) from Temple University School of Law. Carol Ann was the youngest graduate in her law class.
Prior to joining Lehr Law, Carol Ann worked for a number of law firms in New Jersey and Pennsylvania focusing on tax and estate planning and estate administration. She has worked for many individuals, families and companies doing critical trust and estate planning work.
As an estate planner, Carol Ann analyses current federal and state tax and other laws to create a plan which helps clients minimize their tax obligations and retain wealth in their families. Legal aspects of planning (proper distribution of assets, use of trusts to protect assets, avoiding disputes, litigation, etc…) are also emphasized. Planning for the elderly is another area of practice where Carol Ann brings great value to clients.
